The Eastside Tigers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Camden Catholic by a score of 46-34 on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Eastside, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Eastside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Glenmore King, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahaan Green, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Eastside now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Camden Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Eastside will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cherry Hill East at 7:00 p.m. Cherry Hill East is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. Camden Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Medford Tech at 12:00 p.m. on January 21st. Medford Tech will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
