Soccer Game Preview: Williamsburg Christian Academy vs. Millwood

The Williamsburg Christian Academy Eagles will take on the Millwood Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Williamsburg Christian Academy headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Covenant Classical Community let them put that streak behind them. The Eagles walked away with a 5-3 victory over the Lions on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for Williamsburg Christian Academy as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Millwood kept a clean sheet against Grove Christian School on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. The result was nothing new for Millwood, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Millwood's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Williamsburg Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-8-1.

Williamsburg Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Millwood in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, winning 6-4. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
