Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Fairfield

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfield). They blew past the Mt. Pleasant Panthers 20-7 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Mt. Pleasant, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Fairfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Fort Madison on the 5th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-4 victory against New London on the 4th.
