Preview: Helias Crusaders vs. Capital City Cavaliers
After two games on the road, Helias is heading back home. They will take on the Capital City Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Helias is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Missouri (they are ranked 38th, while Capital City is ranked 234th).
Last Saturday, Helias beat Tipton 52-43.
Meanwhile, Capital City lost to Jefferson City on the road by a decisive 57-40 margin on Tuesday. Capital City has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Helias' win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Capital City, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost 12 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Helias against Capital City in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 59-31 victory. Does Helias have another victory up their sleeve, or will Capital City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
