Football Recap: Hurricane Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hurricane and Provo squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hurricane had to settle for second. The matchup between the Tigers and the Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Tigers falling 28-13. Having soared to a lofty 43 points in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Although Hurricane took the loss, they still got scores from Brody Jacobs and Titan Borchardt.

Gehrig Orchard produced another solid performance throwing for 146 yards and two TDs, while also rushing for 36 yards and one touchdown for Provo. That's the most rushing yards Orchard has posted since back in August.

The defeat snapped Hurricane's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record. As for Provo, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Hurricane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Provo, they will take on Ridgeline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Riverhawks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
