Soccer Game Preview: Manual vs. DSST: Montview

For the first time this season, Manual will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out on the road to take on the DSST: Montview Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manual has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manual is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 6-2 to Rocky Mountain Prep SMART. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Manual were already down 4-1.

Emma Martinez and Mabel Martinez scored both of Manual's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, DSST: Montview unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They and Sterling finished up their game with a 2-2 draw. The result kept DSST: Montview happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 5th.

DSST: Montview's draw makes their record 5-1-1 this season. As for Manual, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1.

Manual suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to DSST: Montview in their previous meeting back in April of 2018. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Thunderbolts were down 3-0.
