Baseball Recap: Hagerty Comes Up Short

Hagerty fell victim to Lyman and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 1-0. That makes it the first time this season the Huskies have let down their home crowd.

Hagerty had to settle for second despite strong performances on the mound from N. Adkins and M. Alfonso Adkins pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Alfonso tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Adkins hasn't allowed a single hit since back in February.

Hagerty's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3-1. As for Lyman, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-17.

Hagerty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lyman, they will face off against East River at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
