Softball Recap: Manchester Regional Comes Up Short

Manchester Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-4 to the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 21-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Manchester Regional saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janyia Fulmore, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. That hit marked the first that Fulmore got this season.

Manchester Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manchester Regional will take on rival Hawthorne at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology is set to square off against their familiar foe Glen Rock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
