Soccer Game Preview: Ridgway vs. North Clarion

The Ridgway Elker will head out on the road to take on the North Clarion Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Ridgway's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Kane with a sharp 4-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Ridgway needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, North Clarion got the win against Oil City on Saturday by a conclusive 4-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering North Clarion's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 159th, while Oil City are ranked 538th).

Ridgway is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season. As for North Clarion, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.
