Basketball Game Preview: High Tech CV Bruins vs. High Tech SD Storm

Having just played yesterday, the High Tech CV Bruins will jump right back in to play the High Tech SD Storm at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

High Tech CV had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Foothills Christian by a score of 70-57.

High Tech CV got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyle Ilagan out in front who posted 24 points. Another player making a difference was Ramzie Cabal, who went 8-for-12 on his way to 16 points.

Meanwhile, High Tech SD lost 79-56 to Eastlake on Saturday.

High Tech CV will have to contain Hiro Nakamura as he made an impact in High Tech SD's last game. He shot 44% from the field to rack up 20 points. Donovan Thomas was another key player, putting up 11 points.

High Tech CV was able to grind out a solid win over High Tech SD when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 64-56. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Storm turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
