Football Recap: Beverly Hills Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Beverly Hills extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They had to suffer through a 48-3 loss at the hands of the Nordhoff Rangers. The Normans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rangers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Luca Brenner threw for 110 yards on nine of 19 attempts. Aiden Gecovich was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards.

As for Nordhoff, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.2 points.

Desi Canfield produced another solid effort rushing for 156 yards and four TDs on only 11 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Michael Dennie, who threw for 124 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.

Coming up, Beverly Hills will face off against Saddleback at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nordhoff, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Channel Islands at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
