Zavalla entered their tilt with Burkeville on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Burkeville Mustangs with a sharp 19-4 win. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

McKenna Bridges was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Summer Ogden was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-3.

Zavalla was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Zavalla's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zavalla will welcome Brookeland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Zavalla is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season. As for Burkeville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Sabine at 4:00 p.m. on March 21st.
