It was a good run, but Pennsville Memorial unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 17-7 to the Eastern Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since March 27th.

Chase Burchfield was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Luke Wood, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Pennsville Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Eastern, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
