Volleyball Recap: 13 Straight Home Victories for International Community

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Foundation Academy, International Community was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Trinity Prep Saints 3-0. The Comets were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Saints, so the Comets were just returning the favor.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-10.

Ella Jane DeLoach paced International Community's offense, picking up 12 kills. DeLoach got some help from Evelyn Hammer and her 22 assists. DeLoach was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

International Community pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Trinity Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

International Community has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Circle Christian on the 22nd. As for Trinity Prep, they will be playing at home against Lake Howell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
