Basketball Recap: Pellston Takes a Loss

Pellston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 76-40 loss at the hands of the Bellaire Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 668th, while the Eagles are ranked 254th).

Pellston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Bellaire, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Pellston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-32 loss against Mancelona on the 7th. Bellaire has also already played their next game (against Forest Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
