Volleyball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions. Lions fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Mountain Lions since on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 23-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Mountain Ridge, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 12-13.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Brophy College Prep on the 24th. As for Mountain Ridge, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against O'Connor on the 25th.
