Soccer Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Columbia after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell 3-1 to the Salem Seminoles. Columbia's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Columbia's record now sits at 3-7. As for Salem, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salem, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Drew Charter at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
