Softball Recap: Foss Comes Up Short

Foss came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Orting Cardinals, falling 22-0. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Foss' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Orting, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Foss is set to challenge their familiar foe Franklin Pierce at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Orting will square off against rival Fife at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
