Volleyball Recap: Blaine Takes a Loss

Blaine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Academy of Holy Angels Stars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bengals of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Blaine's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Academy of Holy Angels, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Blaine has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Totino-Grace on the 27th. Academy of Holy Angels has also already played their next contest (against Chisago Lakes Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
