Softball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Farragut, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rebels fell just short of the Admirals by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rebels have suffered since May 1, 2024.

West's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Farragut, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10-1 record this season.

West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Bearden on the 6th. Farragut has also already played their next game (against Maryville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
