Basketball Recap: Norco Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Edgar Mojica and Ryan Ibbetson

Norco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 56-44 to the Bonita Bearcats.

Norco's loss came despite strong showings from Ryan Ibbetson and Edgar Mojica. Ibbetson went 7 for 17 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds, while Mojica went 5 of 10 on his way to 15 points. Ibbetson is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Norco's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Bonita, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Norco didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-62 defeat against Bosco Tech on the 27th. Bonita has also already played their next game, a 61-54 loss against Chino Hills on the 27th.
