Apex had won six straight games and Katie Raymer did her part to make it seven on Tuesday. The Cougars came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Jordan Falcons thanks in part to Raymer, who had 23 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Apex who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 20-25, 25-16, 21-25, 15-9.
