Baseball Preview: Piner Prospectors vs. Maria Carrillo Pumas

The Prospectors were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Mustangs on Friday. The Prospectors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 15-7).
Meanwhile, Maria Carrillo came up short against Ukiah on Friday and fell 6-2. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Maria Carrillo saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Stark, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Joseph Edwards-Phillips also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Piner's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Maria Carrillo, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
