Volleyball Recap: Johnston Comes Up Short

Johnston lost against Valley back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dragons fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Johnston's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Johnston and Ankeny Centennial will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Waukee at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th.
