Basketball Recap: Kolby Stewart's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Frazier over Riverview

Frazier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverview Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Commodores this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-49 back in December of 2024.

Frazier lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kolby Stewart, who posted eight points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals. Conlan Higbee was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 12 points.

Frazier's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Riverview, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Jeannette the next time they take the court. Riverview will host Jeannette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Frazier will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
