Preview: Bronson Eagles vs. Chiefland Indians
Bronson has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Chiefland Indians at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bronson will be strutting in after a victory while Chiefland will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Bronson was fully in charge, breezing past Bell 56-22 on the road. The victory was just what Bronson needed coming off of a 63-38 loss in their prior match.
Bronson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cast Nickolls out in front who scored 15 points. Justice Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Chiefland had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lafayette on Friday.
The losses dropped Bronson to 1-1 and Bell to 0-3.
Bronson took a serious blow against Chiefland in their previous meeting back in January, falling 86-50. Can Bronson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
