Huron has gone a perfect 7-0 against Jefferson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Chiefs will look to defend their home field against the Bears at 4:30 p.m. Jefferson took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Huron, who comes in off a win.

Huron took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Everything went their way against Grosse Ile as they made off with a 19-4 victory. The Chiefs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Jefferson came up short against Milan on Monday, falling 16-6. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Big Reds: they've now lost three in a row.

Lindsey Gennoe was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three runs. Another player making a difference was Alivia LeBrun, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Huron's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Huron took their victory against Jefferson when the teams last played back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Chiefs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
