Volleyball Game Preview: San Rafael Bulldogs vs. Terra Linda Trojans

San Rafael hasn't had much luck against Terra Linda recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

San Rafael barely beat San Marin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Meanwhile, Terra Linda got the win against Novato on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Terra Linda didn't let Novato take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.

Terra Linda's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for San Rafael, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-10.

San Rafael suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Terra Linda when the teams last played back in March. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Trojans' Dawson Kosiek, who had nine aces and five digs.
