Football Recap: Manual Takes a Loss

Manual fell victim to Normal West and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Manual's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Normal West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manual will head out to challenge Urbana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Normal West, they will venture away from home to square off against Champaign Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Maroons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.86 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
