Pine had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Morningside Academy on Friday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles (Eddy). The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Eagles (Eddy): they've now won six in a row.

Pine walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-17.

Vitoria Claret paced Pine's offense, picking up nine kills. Claret got some help from Amelia Mitchell and her 11 assists. Bodhi Lindley controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pine's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Morningside Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Pine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Centennial on the 15th. As for Morningside Academy, they will welcome Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
