Knott County Central had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-5 win two weeks ago.

Connor Napier was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 6.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
