Soccer Game Preview: Bloomsburg vs. Milton

The Bloomsburg Panthers will challenge the Milton Black Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Bloomsburg fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Lewisburg on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Green Dragons by a score of 3-2.

Hannah Magill and Rori Serrano scored both of Bloomsburg's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Milton's matchup on Thursday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on Lewisburg with a sharp 6-2 win. Considering Milton have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Milton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Bloomsburg, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Bloomsburg skirted past Milton 1-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Black Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
