Softball Recap: Post Falls Trojans vs. Sandpoint Bulldogs
After flying high against Bonners Ferry on Tuesday, Post Falls came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Sandpoint Bulldogs by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Sienna Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kulani Peahu-Michael, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.
Post Falls' defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-10. As for Sandpoint, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-17.
