Volleyball Game Preview: Marshall Barristers vs. Morro Bay Pirates

The Marshall Barristers will square off against the Morro Bay Pirates at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Marshall will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Marshall got the win against Lincoln by a conclusive 3-0.

Marshall was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Morro Bay, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past Nipomo 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since March 13th.

Morro Bay was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (94-93), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 10-25, 18-25, 25-16, 25-18, 15-10.

Marshall pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Morro Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.
