Soccer Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss

Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cleveland Rams. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Southeast Raleigh couldn't quite close it out.

Southeast Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15-1. As for Cleveland, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeast Raleigh will take on rival South Garner at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cleveland is set to square off against their familiar foe Smithfield-Selma at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
