Soccer Game Preview: Albemarle vs. Chatham Charter

The Albemarle Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Chatham Charter Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Albemarle will be strutting in after a victory while Chatham Charter will be coming in after a loss.

While Albemarle fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's season opener. They came out on top against Quality Education Academy by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Bulldogs were the better team in the second half.

They hit Quality Education Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kylie Stafford, Dayana Santos, and Betzy Alvarado.

Meanwhile, Chatham Charter and Central Carolina Academy combined for 23 shots on goal on Wednesday, which explains the impressive 11 total goals scored. Chatham Charter lost 8-3 to Central Carolina Academy. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.
