Gramercy Christian hasn't had much luck against Trinity Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Gramercy Christian Warriors will get right back to it and host the Trinity Christian Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Gramercy Christian will be strutting in after a win while Trinity Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Gramercy Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-42 victory over Coastal Brigade.

Diego De Hoyos had an outrageously good game as he went 9 of 15 on his way to 21 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bryce Lowry, who posted nine points along with six assists and six blocks.
Gramercy Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian managed to keep up with Community Christian until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Trinity Christian came up short against Community Christian, falling 78-53. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now lost seven in a row.
Gramercy Christian will have to contain Christian LoPresti as he made an impact in Trinity Christian's last game. He dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. LoPresti is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marion Wright, who scored nine points.
Gramercy Christian pushed their record up to 8-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-18.
Things could have been worse for Gramercy Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-46 loss to Trinity Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Gramercy Christian, Carter Jordan (who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
