Softball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton lost against Chester last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Princeton came up short against Chester, falling 9-1. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Princeton and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1. As for Chester, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Princeton will take on Williams at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chester, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quincy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Chester surely won't give up without a fight.
