Football Recap: Camas Takes Down Ranked Lincoln + How To Watch

Camas faced Lincoln in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Papermakers walked away with a 35-22 victory over the Abes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Papermakers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Camas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyson Ruggiero, who threw for 206 yards and four TDs while completing 78.3% of his passes. Zach Jones also helped with two scores in total.

Camas didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Armani Dukes and Jack Parbon. Camas got some further help from Austin Parker: he made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camas will venture away from home to square off against West Linn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Papermakers will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Lincoln, they are taking a road trip to take on Gig Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Abes' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
