Basketball Recap: West Charlotte Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Charlotte saw some tournament action on Friday. They were beaten by the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets 63-30. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Briana Moultrie, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Charlotte fell to 2-1. As for Fort Mill, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, West Charlotte won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rocky River at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Lions' defense better be ready for this one: the Ravens have averaged an impressive 51.2 points per game this season. As for Fort Mill, they and Grace Christian will face off at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Yellow Jackets will need to watch out since the Crusaders have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
