Softball Recap: Pemberton Comes Up Short

Pemberton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Riverside Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 19-10 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Pemberton's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Riverside, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Pemberton will venture away from home to face off against Florence Township Memorial at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Flashes at the right time seeing as the Flashes are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they will challenge Camden Academy Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
