Football Recap: Burwell Longhorns vs. Anselmo-Merna Coyotes
Burwell was the 41-18 winner over Anselmo-Merna when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Burwell Longhorns fell to the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes 28-24. The Longhorns just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.
Anselmo-Merna was led to victory by Josiah Griffith and Kayden Record. Griffith picked up 30 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Record threw for 39 yards and a touchdown.
