Volleyball Recap: D'evelyn Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Douglas County

D'Evelyn faced Douglas County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Jaguars fell 2-0 to the Huskies. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elijah Osborne paced D'Evelyn's offense, picking up nine kills. Osborne got some help from Tarin Cavanaugh and his 20 assists.

D'Evelyn's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Douglas County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

D'Evelyn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Aurora West College Prep Academy on the 21st. As for Douglas County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Chaparral on the 22nd.
