It was a good run, but Hall unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 59-49 to the Newman Central Catholic Comets. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Newman Central Catholic, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

Hall will welcome Serena at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Serena will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Hall surely won't give up without a fight. As for Newman Central Catholic, they will be playing at home against Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
