Soccer Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Jefferson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Marianna Bulldogs, falling 8-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in November of 2024.

Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Marianna, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11-2.

Jefferson County will venture away from home to face off against Maclay at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Maclay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.2 goals per game this season. As for Marianna, they will welcome Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
