Basketball Recap: Lackawanna Takes a Loss

Lackawanna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 58-32 to the Pioneer Panthers. The Steelers were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February of 2023.

Lackawanna now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Pioneer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lackawanna has already played their next game, a 54-30 defeat against Lake Shore on the 17th. As for Pioneer, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pioneer Panthers take on the Amherst Central Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
