Marist extended their postseason success on Friday against Creekside. They managed a 27-21 win over the Creekside Seminoles. The War Eagles' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Creekside's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cayden Benson, who threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and Dylan Vickerson, who picked up 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Vickerson is becoming a predictor of Creekside's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 9-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Marist's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.1 points per game. As for Creekside, they moved to 10-3 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Marist will be home for the holidays to greet North Oconee at 7:00 p.m. on December 16th. Both have allowed few points on average, (Marist: 9.2, North Oconee: 9.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Creekside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
