Basketball Recap: Wilder Takes a Loss

Wilder was the 32-31 winner over North Star when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Wilder Wildcats fell to the North Star Huskies 41-36.

When it comes to explaining why Wilder lost on Wednesday, don't look at Jesse Morales. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-10 en route to 15 points. Morales continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gelacio Martinez, who posted ten points.

Wilder's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for North Star, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

As of now, neither Wilder nor North Star have any future games scheduled.
