Baseball Recap: West Brunswick Takes a Loss

West Brunswick came into this matchup off a tough 14-run loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the New Hanover Wildcats by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for West Brunswick and nudges their season record down to 8-13. As for New Hanover, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Brunswick will take on rival South Brunswick at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Hanover is set to square off against their familiar foe Hoggard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
