Volleyball Recap: Mya Mcglaughlin and Gracie Lammers Secure Win for Ottawa-Glandorf

Ottawa-Glandorf had won four straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 10-4 to make it five. They came out on top against the Memorial Roughriders by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ottawa-Glandorf was led to victory by Gracie Lammers and Mya Mcglaughlin. Lammers had 18 digs and four aces, while Mcglaughlin had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Mcglaughlin has posted since back in September of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: Ottawa-Glandorf was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They served three more aces than Memorial's also-impressive total of 12.

As for Memorial, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-9. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Memorial still got an impressive performance from Elle Craft, who had 12 digs and two assists. Craft has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played. Audrey Chiles also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Ottawa-Glandorf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Leipsic on the 23rd. As for Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Marion Local on the 23rd.
